Wilva S. Hannon

Wilva Schurline (Walters) Hannon, 84, of Odessa, Missouri, passed away Saturday, February 24, 2024, at University Health Lakewood Medical Center in Kansas City, Missouri.

Wilva was born on September 21, 1939, in Grandview, Missouri to William R. and Agnus Walters. She attended Grandview High School. Wilva worked several years at Blue Springs School District as a bus driver, then retired from Odessa School District. Wilva was united in marriage to Vincent David Leroy Hannon on January 1, 2000, in Odessa, Missouri. He preceded her in death on March 11, 2013. Wilva enjoyed reading especially studying the bible. Along with spending time with family, Wilva enjoyed computer games, sewing, quilting, and crochet.   

Wilva is survived by three children, Starlette (Ernest) Cameron of Mississippi, Ronna Moeller of Blue Springs, MO, and Sydney R. Cleavland, Jr; four grandchildren, six great-grandchildren, and many relatives, and friends.   

Along with her parents and husband, Wilva was preceded in death by a son, William J. Cleavland.
