Wilma Irene Smith

Wilma Irene Smith, 93, of Lexington, MO passed away Wednesday, February 2, 2011 at Lexington Care Center. Wilma Irene Wyatt was born February 27, 1917 in Lexington, the daughter of Cyrel and Nellie B. Wright Wyatt. She married William W. Smith, October 10, 1943 in Lexington. He preceded her in death on May 28, 1994. Mrs. Smith was a homemaker and a member of the Lexington United Methodist Church. Mrs. Smith is survived by a daughter, Carolyn Sue Spruce, and a sister, Roberta Wyatt, both of Lexington. One granddaughter, Cheryl Cooley, 7 step-grandchildren, 2 great-grandsons, Nathan and Bradley Cooley, and 13 step-great-grandchildren also survive. In addition to her husband she was preceded in death by her parents, two step-children, William P. Smith and Dixie L. Houts; two brothers, Allen Wyatt and Maurice Wyatt; and one sister, Lola Eshleman. Services will be 2:00 p.m., Sunday, February 6, 2011 at the Walker-Nadler-Fuller Funeral Home, Lexington. Burial in Lexington Memory Gardens. Visitation from 1 to 2 p.m. Sunday, prior to the service. Memorials may be made to the Lexington Care Center Activities Department.
