William Terry Pentico, 61, of Odessa, Missouri passed away on Monday, January 4, 2016 at home.
Funeral services will be at 2:00 p.m., Saturday, January 9, 2016 at the Ralph O. Jones Funeral Home, 306 S. 2nd St., Odessa, MO, 64076, 816-633-5524, with Father Matthew Brumleve officiating. Visitation will be held one hour prior from 1:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home. Burial with military rites will be in the Oak Grove Cemetery in Oak Grove, MO. Terry was born on June 8, 1954 in Goodland, Kansas to Walter Edward Pentico, Jr. and Joyce Joann (Weedman) Pentico. He was a veteran of the United States Navy. Terry was a member of the St. George Catholic Church in Odessa. Before becoming disabled he worked for many years as a Diesel Mechanic at the Oak Grove 76 Truck Stop and at Lafarge Concrete. In addition to spending time with his family and friends, Terry enjoyed playing guitar, fishing, singing and spending time with his grandchildren. His favorite book to read was his bible. Terry also enjoyed the autumn seasons.
In addition to his mother, Terry is survived by two sons, Terry Ray Zumwalt of Oak Grove, MO and Todd William Pentico of Helena, Montana; two step children, Sandy Bennetzen and Robert “Bobby” Bennetzen both of Independence, MO; five grandchildren, two brothers, Mark Pentico and wife Terri of Kingsville, MO and Bruce Pentico and wife Diane of Washington State; four sisters, Claudette Pentico of Oak Grove, MO, Marcette McCarthy and husband Kevin of Odessa, MO, Thersa Pentico of Goodland, KS and Veronica Binder of Sterling , Colorado; and many nieces and nephews.
