William Louis Jenkins,

William "Bill" Louis Jenkins, Jr., 76, of Dover, Missouri, passed away May 5, 2018 at the Cancer Treatment Center of America, Tulsa, Oklahoma, after a short illness. Funeral service will be Thursday, May 10, 2018 at 10:00 am at Walker Nadler Fuller Funeral Home, Lexington. Visitation will also be at the funeral home on Wednesday, May 9, 2018 from 6:00pm until 8:00pm. Burial will be in Lexington Memory Gardens Cemetery. Memorials may be made to the Rheumatoid Arthritis Foundation.

Bill was born September 10, 1941 in Lexington to Luke and Blanche (Breeden) Jenkins. He worked as a safety committeeman for General Motors for 28 years and was a member of Local 93 UAW. He retired in 1991.

Bill is survived by his companion, Elaine Murry, of the home; children, Deanna Jenkins and husband Mike of Wellington, Debra Dorsey and husband Rick of Higginsville, Nancy Williams and husband Darin of Higginsville and Troy Jenkins of Dover; brothers, Larry Jenkins and Peggy of Lexington and Kevin Jenkins and wife Lee Ann of Richmond; sisters, Iris Cobb and husband Steve of Lexington and Kimberlie Guinn and husband Jeff of Columbia, Missouri; 15 grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren. Bill is also survived by Greg and Pam Murry and children and Trevor and Summer Murry and children.

He was preceded in death by his parents, grandson Nicholas; and sister, Phyllis Davis.
