William Ryland Duncan, Jr.
William R. Duncan, Jr., 76, of Independence, MO passed away Tuesday, May 17, 2016 at the Golden Living Center in Independence. Private burial.
Bill Duncan was born September 9, 1939, the son of William R. Duncan, Sr. and Norma Jean Duncan in Lexington, MO. He married Alberta Shaw of Lexington, they divorced and he later married Mary Wright of Independence. She preceded him in death. Bill retired from the Lake City Munitions Plant where he worked on the assembly line. He was a U.S. Army Veteran.
Bill is survived by a daughter, Darla Duncan, Lexington. Sisters: Donna J. Duncan and Shirley L. Duncan both of Lexington. Uncle, Dee Duncan, Lexington. He was preceded in death by his parents, and his stepfather, Oliver Sharnhorst.
