Wilburn R. Davis

Wilburn Davis, 78, passed away on Saturday, March 14, 2015 at his home after a lengthy illness. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, March 17, 2015 at 11:00 am at the Walker Nadler Fuller Funeral Home, Lexington. (660) 259-2245 Visitation will be held on Tuesday, from 10:00 am until service time. Burial will be in Machpelah Cemetery, Lexington. Memorials may be made to the Alzheimers Association or the American Heart Association. Wilburn Davis was born on October 19, 1936 to Jess and Ola Duncan Davis at Lexington, MO. He married Shirley Louise Abbott on November 6, 1954 in Lexington. Shirley preceded Wilburn in death on June 22, 2006. Wilburn had been the owner-operator of Davis Concrete his entire life in the Lexington area. Survivors include his children, Vickie Wallace (Mike), Lexington, Scott Davis (Barbara), Lexington, Terry Bryant (Andy ), Blue Springs, Mo There are eight grandchildren and 15 Great grandchildren. Also surviving are three sisters, Mazie Parrott, Oak Grove, Marjorie Brown, Lees Summit, Betty Danner, Lexington and a brother, William (Bill) Davis, Lexington. Wilburn was preceded in death by his parents, his wife and a brother, James Davis, sisters, Lucille ODoniel, Lee Martin, and Pauline Rameriz.
