Wayne Alan Bottemuller

Wayne Alan Bottemuller, 64, of Kansas City, Missouri formerly of Odessa, Missouri, passed away on October 30, 2023, at Centerpoint Hospital, surrounded by family.

A visitation will be held from 9:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. on Saturday, November 4, 2023, at Our Saviour Lutheran Church, 4153 Rainbow Blvd, Kansas City, KS 66103. A funeral service will follow at 10:30 a.m. at Our Saviour Lutheran Church. Interment to follow at 2:00 p.m. at Concord Cemetery in rural Bates City, MO. Wayne was born on December 13, 1958, in Mineral Wells, TX to Arthur August Bottemuller, Jr. and Carolyn Sue (Chrisman) Bottemuller.  Wayne attended Odessa High School in Odessa, MO.  Wayne was united in marriage to Donna Hash on April 20, 1991, in Kansas City, MO.  Wayne worked in sales and security for many years and drove a school bus for Calvary Lutheran Grade School for many years.  In addition to spending time with family and friends, Wayne was an avid sports fan, fisherman, and was a friend to everyone he met. 

Wayne is survived by his wife of 32 years, Donna Bottemuller of Kansas City, MO; his mother, Mrs. Carolyn Jackson of Independence, MO; one grandchild, Robert Wayne Bottemuller of Kansas City, MO; and two sisters Tracey Michelle Thompson Mora (Ron) of Independence, MO, and Lesli Ann Bottemuller Melick (Keith) of Olathe, KS; Aunt Mrs. Barbara Bottemuller, of Higginsville, MO; and many nieces, nephews, cousins, relatives and friends. 

Wayne was preceded in death by his father Arthur August Bottemuller, Jr.; and a daughter, Alenna Marie Bottemuller.
