Walter Allen Wilson, 60, of Lexington, MO passed away Tuesday, May 03, 2016 at his home. Services for Walter will be 2:00 p.m., Friday, May 6, 2016 at the Walker-Nadler-Fuller Funeral Home, Lexington, MO (660) 259-2245. Burial will be in Greenton Cemetery, near Odessa, MO. Visitation will be from 1 p.m. until service time on Friday. Memorials may be made to Gentiva Hospice, 4911 S. Arrowhead Dr., Ste. 310, Independence, MO 64055.
Walter was born May 2, 1956 in Kansas City, MO, the son of R.C. Wilson and Mary Josephine Register Moore. He married Nita Fern Brown on September 3, 1993 at Lexington. Walter was a truck driver for Dobbs Pallets and a roofer.
Walter is survived by his wife, Nita, of the home. Children: Ronnie Summers, Jefferson City and Sandra Wilson, Richmond. Step-children: Melissa Bezemer, Independence, Gary Viles, Jr., Odessa, Stephanie Madar, LeVergne, TN. Brothers: Jesse Wilson, Robert Wilson, Ronnie Wilson, and R.C. Wilson, Jr. A step-brother: Donald Wilson. Sisters: Mary Ann Moore, Shirley Wilson Grass, and Debbie Wilson Buzzard. There are seventeen grandchildren, four great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. Walter was preceded in death by his parents and a sister, Mary Ann Moore.
