Virginia Dean Fanolio, 87, of Independence, MO formerly of Wellington, MO passed away December 10, 2021 at Monterey Park Care Center, Independence. A visitation will be held Wednesday, December 15, 2021 from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m. at St. Luke Church, 700 W. Highway 224, Wellington, MO 64097. A funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday at the church with burial at St. Luke Cemetery, Wellington. Memorials may be made to St. Luke Church. Virginia was born on August 24, 1934 to Charles and Alice (Nadler) Fanolio in Wellington, MO. Virginia enjoyed doing word searches, sewing, quilting and spending time with her family and friends.

Survivors include her brother, Larry (Ruth) Davis of Wellington; eight nieces and nephews, Sabrina (Tim) Yasso of Lee Summit, MO, Pam (Randy) Easley of Orrick, MO, Crystal (Steve) Woodward of Ricon, GA, Leslie (Scott) Falke of Liberty, MO, Karla Samrany of Liberty, MO, Jim (Dana) Davis of Wellington, MO, Mike (Chong Mi) Davis of Wellington, MO and Barry (Gretchen) Davis of Odessa, MO. Virginia is preceded in death by her father, Charles Fanolio; mother, Alice Davis; two sisters, Judy Finkemeier and Patricia Parr; a brother, Glenn Davis; and niece Tammy Wilson.
