Travis Hill Emerson, 69 of Lexington, Missouri passed away on Friday, August 2, 2019 at Shirkey Nursing & Rehab Center in Richmond, MO.
The family will host a Celebration of Life from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m., Monday August 12, 2019 at the P&H Event Center, 1111 Main St., Lexington, MO, 64067. In lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested to the family in care of Erica Borgman. They would like to purchase new Dinamap Blood Pressure Machines for Shirkey Nursing and Rehab. Travis was born on August 9, 1949 in Brush, Colorado to Dana Hill and Joyce (Bray) Emerson. He graduated from Lexington High School in 1967. He married Cheryl (Schwerner) in Lexington, MO. They later divorced but remained close friends. Travis retired from Broome Oldsmobile & Cadillac in Independence, MO after 30 plus years of service. In addition to spending time with family and friends, he enjoyed working on hotrods, Harleys, and participating in civil war reenactments.
Survivors include two daughters, Sunny Hackler and husband Chris of Burke, Virginia and Erica Borgman and husband Matt of Lexington, MO; Cori Bear, Walker Bear, Emerson Borgman, George Liam Hackler and Emma Hackler; two brothers, Charles Emerson and wife Joyce and David Emerson and wife Malia both of Lexington, MO; and many nieces and nephews.
Travis was preceded in death by his parents.
