Timothy Dean Halsey, 69 of Odessa, Missouri passed away on Saturday, October 12, 2024, at Fair View Nursing Home in Sedalia, Missouri.
Visitation will be held from 11:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m., Thursday, October 17, 2024, at Ralph O. Jones Funeral Home, 306 S. 2nd St., Odessa, MO, 64076, 816-633-5524. A graveside service will follow at 12:15 p.m., at McKendree Cemetery, Ste. Hwy H.H. and McKendree Rd., Odessa, MO. Memorials are suggested to the McKendree Cemetery Association. Timothy was born on February 17, 1955, in Lexington, MO to Walter James and Opal Faye (Morgan) Halsey. In 1976, Timothy was united in marriage to Dovie Flood, they later divorced but remained friends. Timothy worked for Tri-City Construction for 10 plus years and for Dun-Par Engineering Form Co. He was a member of the Laborers’ Local 663 in Kansas City, MO. Timothy was Christian by faith. In addition to spending time with family and friends, he was an avid motorcycle rider, enjoyed arrowhead and mushroom hunting, fishing and hunting, and was known to always help out anyone in need.
Timothy is survived by two children, Adam Halsey of Odessa, MO and Olivia (David) Bustamante of Kansas City, MO; eleven grandchildren; one sister, Julia (Troy) Gann of Warsaw, MO; three brothers, James “Jim” W. Halsey, Roy (Carla) Halsey, and Billy Halsey, all of Odessa, MO; and many nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends.
Timothy was preceded in death by his parents.
