Thomas Michael Schmidt (Smitty), 32, of Warrensburg died in an automobile accident on April 9, 2016 in rural Higginsville, Mo. Visitation for Thomas will be held at the Ralph O. Jones Funeral Home, Odessa, on Wednesday, April 13, 2016 at 1:00 Pm. Funeral services will be immediately following at 2 Pm. Memorials can be made to an education fund for his daughter.

Thomas Michael Schmidt was born on December 27, 1983 to Clyde Reno and Cheryl Schmidt in Kansas City, MO. Thomas was employed by Swisher Mowers of Warrensburg, where he manufactured lawn mowers.

Survivors include his wife Bree of the home. His daughter Katana of Las Vegas, NV. His mother Cheryl Schmidt, Springfield, MO. His father Clyde Reno and wife Gretchen, Corder, MO. Grandparents, Tom and Joyce Schmidt of Grain Valley, MO. Also surviving are three brothers, Clyde Reno II, of Corder, MO, Michael Reno of Gladstone, MO, and Daniel and wife Shandie Reno of Higginsville, MO. Also surviving are two sisters Carmen and Thomas Triplett of Lexington, MO and Alyssa Wandell of Grain Valley, MO as well as many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his grandparents Clyde and wife Jennie Reno.
