Thomas Arthur Jones, 82, of Odessa, Missouri passed away at his home on April 24, 2018. Per the family's wishes, he will be cremated and inurned at the Missouri State Veterans Cemetery, Higginsville. Arrangements have been entrusted to the Ralph O. Jones Funeral, 306 South Second Street, Odessa, Missouri, 816-633-5524.
Thomas was born November 18, 1935 in Utica, New York to Tom and Elsie Mae (Parker) Jones. He served in the United States Air Force during the Korean War. He worked for the Social Security Administration for over 30 years. Thomas married Patricia (Stiles) Jones November 21, 1956. She preceded him in death. He enjoyed playing computer and card games, golfing, going to dinner and spending time with family and friends.
Thomas is survived by his children, Raymond Jones, and wife Ellen of Blue Springs, Missouri, Dennis Jones and wife Lisa of Tupper Lake, New York, Thomas Jones, Jr. and wife Dorothy of Munnsville, New York, and Tracey Gamble of Odessa; brothers, Leslie Jones and Dennis Jones; 13 grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife, his brother, Bernard Jones and son-in-law Richard Gamble.
