Thelma Annie Beard, 87, Lexington, Mo passed away on May 9, 2014 at Lafayette Regional Care Center, Lexington. Thelma Annie Beasley was born on February 17, 1927 in Trenton, Missouri to Louis and Ethel Beasley. She grew up in Richmond, MO and had lived in Lexington since 1954. She was a self-employed businesswoman for the last 20 years selling Avon products. Prior to that she had worked at and retired from Remington Arms munitions. She had also worked at Daves Dragons Den in Lexington. In recent years she had enjoyed spending time with family and activities with her friends at the Elks. Survivors include her children, Janet Stewart and husband, Raymond, Tom Beard, Blue Springs, MO; and Candy Mcgill, Lexington. There are two grandsons, Derek and wife Kristi, Blue Springs, MO; and Dustin and wife Tracy, Nashville, TN. Also surviving is a great granddaughter, Ada Annie Marie Lefholz, Blue Springs, MO. Thelma was preceded in death by her parents, by four sisters and two brothers Memorial services Tuesday, May 13, 2014 at 2:00 pm at the Walker Nadler Fuller Funeral Home, Lexington. Visitation will be held on Monday, May 12 at the funeral home from 6 to 8 pm. Memorials may be made to the Lexington Elks Lodge or the Shriners Childrens Hospital.
