Teresa Lynn (Magruder) Christeson, 69, of Odessa, Missouri passed away on Monday, November 15, 2021, at her home surrounded by family.
A visitation will be held from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Thursday, November 18, 2021, at Ralph O. Jones Funeral Home, 306 S. 2nd Street, Odessa, MO, 64076, 816-633-5524. Teresa was born on December 19, 1951, to Paul Eugene and Bernadine Ann (Kaminski) Magruder in Kansas City, MO. She graduated from Odessa High School in 1970. Teresa worked off and on for many years at the Odessa Middle School and Odessa High School cafeterias for over 30 years. She was a member of the St. George Catholic Church of Odessa. In addition to spending time with family and friends, Teresa enjoyed gardening, sewing, crafts, and baking.
Survivors include her mother, Bernadine, of Odessa, MO; a daughter, Jeanette Pfetsch (Kenneth) of Lexington, MO; a son, James Christeson of Lenexa, KS; four grandchildren, Gavin Sellars (Adrianna) of Raytown, MO, Gabrielle Whitley (Cody) of Blue Springs, MO, Brenna Christeson of Grain Valley, MO, and Bailey Christeson of Lenexa, KS; a great grandchild, Camilla Whitley of Blue Springs, MO; two sisters, Patricia Pudenz (Mark) of Odessa, MO and Sharon Thompson (Randall) of Bolivar, MO; two brothers, Richard Magruder (Melody) of Independence, MO and Michael Magruder (Barbara) of Odessa, MO; and many nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends.
Teresa was preceded in death by her father, Paul Eugene Magruder.
