Tamhra Lee Bayless, 63, passed away Tuesday, March 7, 2017 in Homer, Alaska.
A Celebration of Life will be held at 1:00 p.m., Saturday, March 25, 2017 at the First Baptist Church, 100 W. Hwy. OO, Odessa, MO, 64076. Visitation will be held one our prior starting at 12:00 p.m. until the time of service, on Saturday, March 25, 2017 at the Church. Inurnment will be in the Mt. Tabor Cemetery. Tamhra was born in Lexington, Missouri on September 11, 1953, the daughter Calvin and Barbara (Owens) of Odessa, Missouri. Tami had a beautiful singing voice and recently recorded an album with the RNB Jesus Band from Joplin, Missouri with some members of her family. She liked being in the ministry and sharing with people about Jesus. Tamhra also served on mission trips in over seven different countries. She loved her pets, enjoyed traveling, and recently lived in Homer, Alaska where she owned a bed and breakfast. Tami was loved by a large family and numerous friends, she will be dearly missed.
She is survived by her mother, Barbara Bayless; son, Calvin Fockler (Brandi) of Blue Springs, Missouri and two grandsons, Hayden and Logan; sister, Rebecca Bayless (Shane); four brothers; Dale Bayless (Mila); Dan Bayless (Brenda); Tom Bayless (Gay Lynn), and Joe Bayless( Beth). She had numerous nieces, nephews, uncles, aunts, cousins, great-nieces and great-nephews.
She was preceded in death by her dad, Calvin Bayless and nephew Joshua.
