Steven Dale Looney, 54, Lexington, passed away on Wednesday, November 29, 2017 at Lafayette Regional Health Center, Lexington, MO. Per his wishes he was cremated. A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
Steven Dale Looney was born on October 14, 1963 at Lexington, Missouri, to Wesley Junior and Orpha Ellen Case Looney. He married Annette Arline Martin on November 22, 1986 in Odessa, Missouri. Steven had been a truck driver and had worked for Green Quarries, Excelsior Springs, for many years. He loved to collect Zippo cigarette lighters.
Survivors include his wife, Annette, Odessa, a son, Christopher Looney and wife, Abigail, Carrollton. There are three grandchildren. Also surviving are two brothers, Marshall Looney, Concordia, and David Looney and his wife, Melissa, Higginsville, and a sister, Sara Steele, Higginsville. Steven was preceded in death by his parents and a brother Wesley Eugene Looney.
