Steven E. Janes, 53, of Bates City, MO passed away Wednesday, May 4, 2016 at Lee�s Summit Medical Center. Services for Steven will be 1 p.m., Monday, May 9, 2016 at the Walker-Nadler-Fuller Funeral Home, 1720 South Street, Lexington, MO (660) 259-2245.
There will be no visitation. Inurnment at Lexington Memory Gardens at a later date. Memorials can be made to the family.
Steven was born September 2, 1962 in Lexington, MO, son of Wilbur Keith and Clara Jane Cramer Janes. He married Alicia Lowry on July 7, 2007 in Las Vegas, NV. Steven served in the Army National Guard for 6 years. He was a Commercial Painter for 35 years and worked for Myron Precise Painting. Steven restored classic cars as a hobby.
Steven is survived by his wife, Alicia, of the home. Children: Malarie Beard (James), Grain Valley, Joshua Janes, Odessa, and Jacob Janes, Odessa. A step-daughter, Katelin Lowry, Bates City. Three grandchildren: Gavin and Wyatt Beard and Tristen Janes. Brothers: Richard Janes (Shonna), Odessa, Terry Janes (Leighann), Holden, Joseph Janes (Jennifer), Lexington, Delbert Janes, Jacksonville, Fl, and John Janes (Carol), Odessa. Sisters: Carol Barker (Richard), Odessa, Merry Janes, Odessa, Elizabeth Jackson (Robert), Wellington, Pamela Brown, (Ronnie), Odessa, Connie VanBuren (James), Odessa and Patty Bartlett (John), Butler, Mo. He has many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother, Charles.
