Steven Gilbert Burkhart, 60, of Lexington, Missouri, passed away, Sunday, October 1, 2023, in Warrensburg, Missouri.

Steven was born October 15, 1962, in Boonville, Missouri, to Raymond and Mildred (Shipley) Burkhart. Steven graduated from Odessa High School. He had attended Tarkio College and was working on receiving a degree in arts. Steven worked as a Florist at Blue Springs Bouquet for 10 plus years. Along with spending time with family and friends, Steven enjoyed canning, his cats, flowers, and especially enjoyed the time with his great nephew, Samuel.   

Steven is survived by two sisters, Lora Bowman and Linda Hardwick, one brother, Ron Burkhart and two nieces, Annie Michael and Maegan Murry; three nephews, Austin Bowman, Cody Bowman, Clayton Bowman, relatives, and friends.  

Along with both his parents, Steven was preceded in death by two sisters, Helen Clay, Carol Tokarske, two brothers, David Burkhart, and Larry Burkhart.
