Steven Michael Betts

Steven “Mike” Michael Betts, 63, of Odessa, Missouri passed away Wednesday, March 13, 2024, at his residence. 

A visitation will be held from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m., Friday March 22, 2024, at First Baptist Church 100 HWY OO, Odessa, Missouri 64076. A Funeral Service will follow at 11:00 a.m., Friday March 22, 2024. Mike was born November 10, 1960, in Enid, Oklahoma to Richard and Dorothy (Catt) Betts, Sr. He graduated from Odessa High School in 1978. Shortly after high school, he received his associates degree in drafting from CMSU. Mike worked for Fike Corporation as a draftsman. Mike was united in marriage to Zoe (Boswell) Betts on February 26, 2023, in Odessa, Missouri. He was a member of the First Baptist Church. Along with spending time with family and friends, Mike enjoyed working at Lake Lafayette, playing the guitar, and loved his cats and dogs. 

Mike is survived by his loving wife, Zoe Betts of Odessa, MO; two children, Matthew and Echo Boswell of Odessa, MO; his mother Dorothy “Dottie” Betts of Odessa, MO; two brothers, Richard (Patricia) Betts Jr. of Ridgeland, MS and Dennis Betts of Odessa, MO; and many nieces, nephews, and relatives, and friends.  

Mike was preceded in death by his father, and a sister-in-law, Dawn.
