Steven Dwane Banes, 59, of Holden, Missouri formerly of Odessa, MO passed away on Friday August 19, 2016 at home.
A private family graveside service will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers memorials are suggested to the family in care of the Ralph O. Jones Funeral Home. Steven was born on February 17, 1957 in Odessa, MO to Bill Banes, Sr. and Mary (Edmonson) Morris. He worked at the GM Leeds Plant in Kansas City, MO for 10 years and then retired from Lawson Industries in Holden, MO. In addition to spending time with his family and friends, Steve enjoyed collecting various things and making a good deal.
Survivors include a daughter, Angela Moeller and husband Eric of Leeton, MO; two grandchildren, Michael and Caitlyn Moeller of Leeton, MO; two brothers, Michael “Buck” Morris of Odessa, MO and Jim Morris and wife Kimberly of Columbia, MO; and many nieces and a nephew.
Steve was preceded in death by his parents, and a brother Bill Banes, Jr.
