Sterling Wayne Noelker

STERLING WAYNE NOELKER Sterling W. Noelker, 86, of Lexington, MO passed away Tuesday, February 11, 2014 at his home. Sterling W. Noelker was born January 10, 1928 in Hardin, MO, the son of Karl Fredrick and Beulah Hetzel Noelker. He married Colette A. Moentmann on February 20, 1955. She preceded him in death November 22, 1997. Sterling was a U.S. Coast Guard Veteran. He was a member of Grace Lutheran Church and a past elder of the church. He was a past school board member for the Hardin Central School District. Mr. Noelker is survived by his children: Doak Noelker and wife, Cindy, Hardin, MO, Terri White and husband, Brad, Hardin, MO, Amy Noelker and husband, Jeff Coquyt, Kansas City, MO, and Mitzi Clayton and husband, Brian, Columbia. Brothers, Karl Noelker, Jr. and Mark Noelker; and sisters, Rosemary Falls and Sandy Benefiel. There are six grandchildren and one great-grandchild. Services will be at 3 p.m., Friday, February 14, 2013 at Grace Lutheran Church in Lexington. Burial in Trinity Lutheran Cemetery, Norborne, MO. Visitation from 2 p.m. until service time on Friday at the church. Mr. Noelker will lie in state from 6 to 8 p.m., Thursday, at the Walker-Nadler-Fuller Funeral Home, 1720 South Street, Lexington, MO (660)259-2245.
