Stephen Lee Hall, Sr.

July 26, 1943 — March 10, 2014

Stephen L. Hall, Sr., 70, of Odessa, Missouri formerly of Holden, MO passed away on Monday, March 10, 2014 at home surrounded by family.

A Memorial Service will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Monday, March 17, 2014 at the Ralph O. Jones Funeral Home, 306 S. Second St., Odessa, MO 64076, 816-633-5524, with Pastor Dexter Snyder officiating. A visitation will be held from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. on Sunday March 16, 2014 at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers memorials are suggested to Crossroad’s Hospice. Steve was born on July 26, 1943 in Nevada, MO to Orris J. and Mary (Cobb) Hall. He graduated from Belton High School in 1961. He attended Central Missouri State University before joining the Navy where he served from 1962 - 1968. Steve retired in 2013 after 30 years of working in the debt collection industry. On June 6, 1969 he was united in marriage to Cynthia M. Searcy who survives of the home. Steve loved fishing, Camping and spending time with his family and friends. Steve was a member of the Missouri Collectors Association and served as a past president, Missouri State Campers Association, Wondering Wheels R.V. Club and the Holden V.F.W. Post 5844.

In addition to his wife, Stephen is survived by two children, Stephen L. Hall II of Odessa, MO and Jacki Hall Worthington and husband James of Lexington, MO; five grandchildren, Rachel and Madison Hall and Emerson, Kinsley and James Worthington; and a sister, Judie Noble of Lee’s Summit, MO.
