Stephanie Carol Thompson, 44, of Wellington, Missouri passed away on Tuesday, November 17, 2015 at the Life Care Center in Carrollton, MO.
The family will host a Celebration of Life from 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m., Saturday, November 28, 2015 at 501 S. Russell, Odessa, MO, 64076. In lieu of flowers memorials are suggested to Children’s Mercy Hospital. Cremation is under the direction of the Ralph O. Jones Funeral Home, 306 S. 2nd St., Odessa, MO, 64076, 816-633-5524.
Stephanie was born on December 30, 1970 in Kansas City, MO. She graduated from the Wellington-Napoleon High School in 1989. In addition to spending time with her family and friends she enjoyed reading, watching movies and playing games, especially Uno and Bingo.
Stephanie is survived by her mother, Jamie Carol (Brown) Adams; a sister Teisha L. Bennett and husband Daniel of Rushville, MO; a grandmother, Carrie Brown of Odessa, MO; an aunt, Audra Brown of Odessa, MO; and 2 nieces.
Stephanie was preceded in death by her step father, Gary Adams, a grandfather, James William Brown, Jr. and an aunt Judy Brown.
