Stanley "Stan" Ray Chadwick

Stanley “Stan” Ray Chadwick, 59, of Flemington, Missouri formerly of Odessa, MO passed away on Tuesday, November 22, 2016 at home.
Visitation will be from 2:00 p.m. to 3:30 p.m., Sunday, November 27, 2016 at the Ralph O. Jones Funeral Home, 306 S. 2nd St., Odessa, MO, 64076, 816-633-5524. A private family service will begin at 4:00 p.m., Sunday November 27, 2016 at the funeral home. Cremation will follow with inurnment at Mt. Tabor Cemetery at a later date. Memorials are suggested to the grandchildren’s education fund in care of Heather Cobb or Amber Cuda. Stan was born on August 9, 1957 in Mammoth Springs, Arkansas to Ray C. & Jo Ann (Reef) Chadwick. He graduated from Odessa High School in 1975. On June 1, 1979 Stan married Diane Chadwick in Oak Grove, MO and they later divorced. Stan was baptized in faith at the Church of Christ in Oak Grove, MO. He owned and operated S&D Construction in Odessa and Flemington until his retirement. He was a member of the Heavy Construction Laborers’ Union Local 663 in Kansas City, MO. In addition to spending time with his family and friends, Stan enjoyed fishing, hunting, and going to the lake.
Stan is survived by two daughters, Heather Cobb and husband Billy of Lexington, MO and Amber Cuda and husband Bobby Cuda of Odessa, MO; six grandchildren, Kendall and Maddux Cobb and Lance, Landon, Gunner and Avery Cuda; two brothers, Dennis Chadwick and wife Sandy of Odessa, MO, Ritchie Chadwick and wife Suzanne of North Kansas City, MO and two sisters, Donna Staggs and husband Reck of Lee’s Summit, MO and Sandy Lowe and husband Eric of Blue Springs, MO; Stan’s two favorite dogs, Max & Milo and many nieces and nephews.
Stan was preceded in death by his parents.
