Sherrie Louise Cutshall

Sherrie Louise Cutshall, 64, of Odessa, passed away Monday, September 25, 2023, at St. Mary’s Medical Center surrounded by her loving family.  

A Family Hosted Celebration of Life will be held Saturday, October 7, 2023, from 2:00p.m. to 4:00p.m. at the New Horizon Presbyterian Church, 4266 MO-131, Odessa, Missouri 64076. Sherrie was born in Independence, Missouri on September 23, 1959, to Charles Delvin Cutshall and Martha Louise (Martin) Chushuk. She graduated from Blue Springs High School in 1977. She then received her nursing degree from Lex La-Ray in Lexington, MO. Sherrie was an LPN for Lafayette Regional Health Center, where she cared for patients for 20 plus years. She was Honored Queen for Job’s Daughters. Along with spending time with family, Sherrie was an avid reader and loved to cook for her family.

Sherrie is survived by her mother; Martha Louise Chushuk and significant other, Jim; two children, Samuel (Bobi) Poindexter of Bates City, MO and Jessica Nichole (Chadwitiski) Summers of Wichita, KS; four grandchildren, Trinity Poindexter, William Poindexter, Pearl Householder, and Layne Kirk; two sisters, Pam (Bill) Buffalow and Mistie (Terry) Hatmaker, two brothers, Chuck (Bernadette) Cutshall and Lonnie (Kelly) Cutshall; and many nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends.   

Sherrie was preceded in death by her father, Charles Delvin Cutshall.
