Sherman Junior Surbaugh

SHERMAN JUNIOR SURBAUGH Sherman J. Surbaugh, 82, of Richmond, MO passed away Thursday, October 6, 2011 at his home. Sherman Surbaugh was born December 28, 1928 in Hardin, MO to Sherman Addison and Kitty Adams Surbaugh. He married Beverly Jean Menaugh, December 21, 1950 in Richmond, MO. Mr. Surbaugh was a tool and die maker at the Bendix Corporation before retirement. He was an Air Force Veteran of WW II. Mr. Surbaugh was of the Baptist Faith. Mr. Surbaugh is survived by his wife, Beverly, of the home. Six children: Gary Wayne Surbaugh, Lees Summit, James Michael Surbaugh, Cameron, Kitty Surbaugh, Richmond, Darren Surbaugh, Richmond, Bobbie Lynn, Richmond, and Scott Johnson, Lees Summit. There are six grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother, Chuck. Services will be 7:30 p.m., Wednesday, October 12, 2011 at the Walker-Nadler-Fuller Funeral Home, Lexington, MO. Visitation from 6 to 7 p.m., Wednesday, October 12 at the funeral home.
