Shelli Lynn (Moore) Perrey, 66, of Kansas City, Missouri passed away unexpectedly Tuesday, April 1, 2025, at her residence.

A graveside service will be held at 2:30p.m., on Tuesday, April 8, 2025, at Mount Moriah Cemetery, 10507 Holmes Road, Kansas City, Missouri 64131. Memorials are suggested to KC Pet Project. Shelli was born on October 26, 1957, in Kansas City, Missouri to Richard Henry Moore and Mary Jeanne (LoChiano) Carlson. After receiving her GED, Shelli received a radiology assistant certificate from Heritage Community College. Shelli had a great love and dedication for animals where she tended and cared for the neighboring animals. Shelli was also very headstrong and always made sure her family was put first, regardless of what was going on. Shelli was stubborn at times but that is how she showed her love. Shelli had a love language of gift giving and the way she showed this love language was giving items that reminded her of family and gifting it to them.

Shelli is survived by her mother, Mary Jeanne LoChiano of Omaha, NE; One brother Steven Moore of Clarinda, IA; four daughters, Shawndra (Patrick) Jernigan of Arkansas City, KS, Danelle (Michael) Leighty of Odessa, MO, Stacy Perrey of Arkansas City, KS, and Ashley Perrey of Raymore, MO; eleven grandchildren, Amy Stierhoff, Travis Anderson, Tylor Willoughby, Aubrie Willoughby, Mikinze Leighty, Dylan Cheatham, Madison Cheatham, Kalynn Cheatham, Breann Cheatham, Allison Cheatham, Mason Perrey, and Ava Rutherford; nine great-grandchildren; and many nieces, nephews, and friends. Shelli was preceded in death by her father, Richard Henry Moore; two brothers, Richard David Moore and Brian Henry Moore.
