Scott Douglas Stark, 51 of Odessa, Missouri died September 13, 2015 at home.

He was born on June 25, 1964 in Lexington, MO. Scott was a 1982 graduate of Odessa High School and attended Central Missouri State University in Warrensburg. He worked as a carpenter for J.E. Dunn Construction Co. until he was disabled at the age of 22. He was a retired member of the Carpenter’s Local Union #1329.

Scott always kept himself informed by reading and watching TV. His favorite interests were hunting, sports, history, farming and livestock, current news events and politics, even though he could not always physically participate. He loved music and visiting with family and friends.

He is survived by his father, Forrest Lee Stark of Lincoln, MO, his mother, Judith Wagoner Harvey of Odessa; his life partner, Judy Petkoff of Odessa; his son, William Coy Stark of Palmer, Alaska; a sister Dena Stark of Odessa; a step father, Charles Harvey, Sr. of Odessa; a niece, Lauren Grubb; three step brothers, Charles Harvey, Jr. and Bill Harvey, both of Odessa, and Eddie Harvey of Pleasant Hill, MO.

A Celebration of Life will be held at 7:00 p.m., Thursday, September, 17, 2015 at the Ralph O. Jones Funeral Home, 306 S. 2nd St., Odessa, MO, 64076, 816-633-5524. A visitation will be held from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m., on Thursday at the funeral home. A private family inurnment will take place at a later date.
