Margaret (Peggy) Ann Mack, 69, of Bates City, Missouri passed away on Friday, May 03, 2013 at home surrounded by family. A celebration of life service will be held at 4:00 p.m., Saturday May 18, 2013 at the Calvary Baptist Church in Odessa, MO with Reverend Larry Neil officiating. Visitation will be held from 3:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. at the church. Memorials are suggested to the Hope Lodge. Condolences for the family may be left at www.ralphojones.com. Arrangements are entrusted to the Ralph O. Jones Funeral Home, 306 S. Second St., Odessa, MO, 64076, (816) 633-5524. Peggy was born on January 27, 1944 in Omaha, Nebraska to Alfred C. and Georgiann (Sweet) Petersen. She was a 1962 graduate of North High School in Omaha, Nebraska. On January 20, 1968 she was united in marriage to George William Mack in Miami, Oklahoma who survives of the home. After 20 plus years she retired from the Corp of Engineers as an Office Manager. She worked on various projects in the Blue Springs area and then transferred to Whiteman Air Force Base in Knob Noster, MO. Peggy and George are members of the Calvary Baptist Church in Odessa, MO. After retirement Peggy and George loved traveling the United States in their RV. Some of her hobbies include cooking, sewing, gardening, taking care of her flowers, but most of all she loved spending time with her family and grandchildren. In addition to her husband George, survivors include three children: Marty Spinler and wife Susan of Blue Springs, MO, Renee Holt and husband Keith of Odessa, MO, and Suzanne (Mack) Bell and husband Jonathan of Oak Grove, MO; nine grandchildren, Derek Spinler, Christian Spinler, Sierra Spinler, Nathan Holt, Nick Holt, Adison Bell, Skyler Bell, Austin Bell and Chris Luna; two brothers, Milton Petersen and wife Michele of Fayetteville, Tennessee and Gordon Petersen and wife Mary of North Platte, Nebraska; a sister Maurine Fuller and husband Montie of North Platte, Nebraska; and many nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents Peggy was preceded in death by a brother Jerome Petersen and wife Charlene.
