Sadie Pearl (Campbell) Timmons, 95, of Kansas City, Kansas, originally of Odessa, Missouri passed away on Wednesday, December 16, 2020 at the University of Kansas Hospital in Kansas City, KS.
A visitation will be held from 1:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m., Sunday, December 20, 2020 at Ralph O. Jones Funeral Home, 306 S. 2nd Street, Odessa, MO, 64076, 816-633-5524. A funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. (Masks are required.) Interment will follow at the Mt. Tabor Cemetery in Odessa, MO. Memorials are suggested to Mt. Tabor Cemetery Association. Sadie was born on March 26, 1925 in Odessa, MO to Claude and Leah (Jennings) Campbell in Odessa, MO. She graduated from Farmer’s High School in rural Warrensburg, MO. In 1955 Sadie was united in marriage to Richard Timmons. He preceded her in death. She worked for Kansas City Life in Kansas City, MO for over ten years, retiring in 1989. Sadie was a member of the Kansas City Baptist Temple in Kansas City, MO and taught Sunday School for over fifty years. In addition to spending time with family and friends she enjoyed cooking and gardening.
Survivors include two sons, Roscoe Timmons of Platte City, MO, and Dan Timmons of Kansas City, KS; three grandchildren, Hunter, Heather and Joshua Timmons; one great grandchild, Reagan Timmons; and many nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends.
In addition to her parents and husband, Sadie was preceded in death by three brothers, Cecil, Charles “Bud”, and Chester Campbell; and a sister, Elsie Douthit
