Ruth Ann (Renzelman) Watt, 85, of Lexington, Missouri passed away Monday, September 16, 2024, at Shirkey Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Richmond, Missouri.
A graveside service will take place at 2:00 p.m., Saturday, September 21, 2024, at Machpelah Cemetery in Lexington, Missouri. In lieu of flowers memorials are suggested to Shirkey Hospice. Ruth was born August 10, 1939, in Carrollton, Missouri to Miles and Sophia (Starke) Renzelman. She graduated in 1958 from Lexington High School.
Ruth was united in marriage on April 21, 1956, to Harold Watt in Lexington, Missouri. She was an active member of 1st Baptist Church. Ruth was a member of Square-Dancing Club, Moose lodge, and Elks Lodge. Ruth's devotion to her loved ones was unwavering, with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren holding a special place in her heart. She found joy in capturing life's moments through photography, tended to her garden, enjoyed reading, and found happiness in square dancing.
Ruth is survived by her children, Steven Watt of Oak Grove, MO, Alan (Mary) Watt of Lexington, MO, Renade (Timothy) Brown of Lexington, MO; eleven grandchildren; twenty-five great grandchildren; a sister, Carolyn (Jim) Ford of Independence, MO; and many nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
Ruth was preceded in death by both her parents, and husband; three great grandchildren, Kirsten, Johnathon II, and Raiden, and a daughter-in-law, Cynthia.
