Ruth Margaret Davis

Ruth Margaret Davis, 76, of Wellington passed away January 4, 2022 at her home surrounded by family. A visitation, celebration of life and inurnment will be at a later date. Ruth was born September 8, 1945 in Waverly, Missouri to Henry and Laura (Skaggs) Ray. She graduated from Santa Fe High School in Alma, Missouri in 1963. On May 21, 1965 she married Larry Davis in Wellington. Ruth was a licensed Insurance Agent and worked for Shelter Insurance for many years. She retired, after several years of service, from Midwest Title. Ruth was a member of St. Luke Evangelical Free Church and enjoyed woodworking, pottery, crafts, sewing and quilting.

Survivors include her husband, Larry, of the home; sons, Jimmy Davis and wife Dana of Wellington, Michael Davis and wife Chong of Wellington and Barry Davis and wife Gretchen of Odessa; 14 grandchildren; 8 great grandchildren; sister, Mary Sue Schreier and husband Donald of Lexington: dear family friends, Cindy and Tony Heathman of Osceola, Missouri; and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents.
