Ruby Lee (Parshall) Robinette, 78, of Odessa, Missouri passed away on Wednesday, September 14, 2016 at home surrounded by family.
Visitation will be held at the Ralph O. Jones Funeral Home on Monday, September 19, 2016 from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m., with Graveside services immediately following at 11:00 a.m. Burial will be in the Odessa Cemetery. Ruby was born on August 25, 1938 in Monroe City, MO, to Allen Thomas and Ruby Eva (Jeter) Parshall. She graduated from Odessa High School in 1956. She married Burton Robinette on February 28, 1960 in Oak Grove. She worked at home raising her two children, Denise and Mark. She was a member of the First Baptist Church in Odessa.
In addition to her husband Burton, Ruby is survived by two children, Denise Horne of Warsaw, MO and Mark Robinette and wife Kathleen, of Odessa, MO; one brother, Joe Parshall and wife Frankie of Odessa, MO; and a sister, Doris Ewing of Monroe City, MO; three grandchildren Trina Fulks of Warsaw, MO, Justin Shull and wife Jana of Odessa, MO, And Jessica Shull of Raytown, MO; five great grandchildren, Cody and Dylan Fulks, Jaden and Jaxon Shull, and Blake Knabe, with many nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, Ruby was preceded in death by brother, Estel A. Parshall; three sisters, Zella Shelor, Fern Hobbs and Gladys “Oleta” Harvey-Zoch; and a son-in-law, Jim Horne.
