Roy E. Gabbard, 56, of Lexington, MO passed away Saturday, February 20, 2016.
Roy was born February 23, 1959 in Fayetteville, Arkansas, the son of Howard Gabbard and Jacqui Pettit. Roy was the foreman climber for SunJack Tree Service.
Roy is survived by his children: Shawn Schieber, Lexington, William Gabbard, Tulsa, OK, Sunshine Quinn, Independence, MO, Dustin Gabbard, Independence, MO and Jackie Gabbard, Lexington. Step-children: Jeremiah George, Valeria George, Joshua George, and Melissa Groves all of Lexington. Brothers: Bill Bowerman, TX, Wendell Gabbard, Patrick, Arkansas, Dwayne Gabbard, AR, Rod Bowerman, TX, Jack Bowerman, TX. and sisters: Connie and Susie of TX. There are 22 grandchildren and 1 great-granddaughter. Roy was preceded in death by his parents, a daughter, Porshua DeLynn Gabbard, and sister, Debbie and brother, Rick.
A visitation will be held from 5 to 7 p.m., Thursday, February 25 at the Walker-Nadler-Fuller Funeral Home, Lexington, MO with a celebration of life at the Lexington Old Town directly following . Memorials may be made to the family for funeral expenses.
