Roxann Elaine Coen

Roxann Elaine (Walquist) Coen, 66, of Lexington, Missouri passed away on Friday, January 13, 2023, at Lafayette Regional Health Center in Lexington. 

Visitation will be held from 11:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m., Wednesday, January 18, 2023, at the Walker-Nadler-Fuller Funeral Home, 1720 South St., Lexington, MO, 64067, 660-259-2245.  A funeral service will follow at 12:00 p.m., January 18, 2023, at the funeral home.  Interment will be in Lexington Memory Gardens.  Memorials are suggested to the family in care of Josh Coen for a charity to be chosen at a later date.  Memories of Roxann and condolences for her family may be left at www.LedfordFamilyFH.com or on our Facebook Page. 

Roxann was born on March 20, 1956, in Lexington, MO to Robert Carl and Bonnie Jean (Schaller) Walquist.  She graduated in 1974 from Lexington High School in Lexington, MO.  In May of 1974 she married John Coen in Lexington.  They later divorced but remained close friends.  John preceded her in death on August 3, 2015.  Roxann was a member of the First Baptist Church in Lexington.  She was a homemaker who always took pride in caring for her family.  In addition to spending time with family and friends, Roxann enjoyed cooking and crafting, especially greeting cards, but spending time with her grandchildren was what she enjoyed the most. 

Survivors include two children, Josh Coen and wife Jennifer of Lexington, MO and Lindsay Butler and husband Keith of Bolivar, MO; eight grandchildren, Stephen Coen and fiancé Victoria Burton, Tucker Herbst, Ava Herbst, Gracelyn Coen, Jase Coen, Madison Coen, Peyton Butler, and Saige Butler; one great-grandchild, Octavia Coen; one sister, Tammy Harrison and husband Mike of Lexington, MO; and many relatives and friends.   

Roxann was preceded in death by her parents.
