ROSE CHARLOTTE KRAUSE Rose C. Krause, 86, of Lexington, MO, formerly of Concordia, MO, passed away Sunday, February 15, 2015 at Riverbend Health & Rehabilitation Center in Lexington. Rose Petering was born July 5, 1928 in Concordia, MO, the daughter of Irvin and Anna Maring Petering. She married Roy Krause on June 29, 1947 in Concordia. Rose was a seamstress for the Unitog Company in Warrensburg, MO. Rose is survived by two children: Ronald Krause and wife, Nancy, Leawood, KS and Mary Hughes, Higginsville, MO. A sister, Ruth Bivin, Longwood, FL. There are 6 grandsons, and 5 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Roy, son, Dennis Wayne Krause, and son-in-law, David Hughes. Services will be 10:30 a.m., Friday, February 20, 2015 at St. Paul Lutheran Church in Concordia, MO. Burial at 12 noon at the Missouri State Veterans Cemetery in Higginsville, MO. Visitation from 9:30 a.m., Friday until service time at the church. Memorials may be made to the Concordia Ambulance Service, Alzheimers Association or St. Pauls Lutheran Church.
