Rosanne (Nan) Robinette, 80, of Odessa, MO passed away on Friday, November 7, 2014 at home surrounded by family.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m., Monday, November 10, 2014 at the Ralph O. Jones Funeral Home, 306, S. 2nd St., Odessa, MO, 64076, 816-633-5524, with Darryl Rider officiating. Visitation will be on Monday, from 1 to 2:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Burial will be in the Odessa Cemetery. In lieu of flowers memorials are suggested to Preferred Hospice. Nan was born on July 25, 1934 in Lafayette County, MO to Fred and Gayle (Burrows) Gann. She graduated from Odessa High School in 1952. Nan married James (Joe) A. Robinette on August 16, 1952 in Odessa, MO. Joe preceded her in death on June 19, 2010. She worked many years at the Odessa Garment Factory and then became the Manager of the 76 Truck Stop restaurant in Oak Grove, MO. She was a member of the First Christian Church in Odessa. In addition to spending time with her family and friends, her hobbies include, bowling, going to the boat, her Friday lunches with friends and playing kismet.
Survivors include four children, James Robinette and wife Brenda of Rowlett, Texas, Pete Robinette and wife Pam of Odessa, MO, Paula Robinette of Odessa, MO and Connie Rider and husband Leland of Odessa, MO; 11 grandchildren, 9 great grandchildren; one brother, Fred (Feech) Gann and wife Bernice of Odessa, MO and Marilyn Arnold and husband Randy of Odessa, MO; and many nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents and husband, Nan was preceded in death by a grandson, Darrin Robinette; and two brothers, Robert (Bob) Geddes and Orville Geddes.
