Ronnie Clay Locke was born in Lexington, Missouri, to the late Clay C. Bell and Rhoda Jane Williams on April 11th, 1948. He departed this life on Thursday, January 18, 2024. He was 75 years old.
Ronnie was a Ray County police officer, a veteran of the U.S. Amy, and a longtime resident of Lexington, Missouri; before enlisting in the U.S. Army, he attended high school in Lexington, MO. During his military career, he received a National Defense Service medal.
He married Helen Hauck in 1970 and had two sons from this union.
Ronnie married Leona Williams in April 1985 and was enriched with three stepdaughters.
Ronnie brought life to any party and could have a great debate with everybody about any issue, especially politics.
He loved fishing, hunting, gardening, playing cards, dominos, and his Kansas City Chiefs football team; we can’t forget his love for beagles and cats.
His wife, Leona Locke; father, Clay C. Bell; mother, Rhoda Jane Locke; brother, Robert A. Locke, Sr.; sister, Stella Louise Glasgow; and grandson, David L. Hutchinson, preceded him in death.

Wade of Independence, MO.; Sister, Rhonda R. Hardin (niece Brittne Hardin) of Fort Worth, Texas; Niece, Rolonda Lylette Saulsberry (Trent) of Kansas City, MO and Nephew, Robert (Trey) Andrew Locke III (Janine) of Houston, TX; Grandchildren (15): Trey, Jameson, Taten, Regan, Kaitlin, Kirkland, Khyree, Kjirsten, Aubrey, Daxton, Chris Jr., James, Tierra, Steven, and David Jr., (15) great-grandchildren and nephews, nieces, and a host of friends.
Visitation will be Thursday, January 25, 2024 from 11:30 am until 12:30 pm at Walker-Nadler-Fuller Funeral Home, 1720 South Street, Lexington, Missouri 64067, 660-259-2245. A funeral service will also be on Thursday at the funeral home at 12:30 pm. Burial with Military Honors will be Thursday at 2:00 pm at the Missouri State Veterans Cemetery in Higginsville, Missouri.
