Ronald Lee Cole, 74 of Lexington, Missouri passed away on Friday, March 1, 2019 at Lafayette Regional Health Center in Lexington, MO.

A visitation will be held from 12:00 p.m. to 1:00 p.m., Friday, March 8, 2019 at the Second Baptist Church, 1201 Main St., Lexington, MO, 64067. A funeral service will follow at 1:00 p.m. with Reverend Everett Hannon, Jr. officiating at the church. Burial with military rites will follow at the Lexington Memory Gardens. Ronald was born on April 28, 1944 in Lexington, MO to Samuel Benton Cole, Jr. and Amanda Lorene (Turner) Cole. He was an honorably discharged SFC of the United States Army. On December 30, 1971 he was united in marriage to Juanita (Stanton) Cole in Lexington, MO. Ronald retired from Cooks Paint and from Lake City Ammunitions. He was a member of the African Methodist Episcopal Church and attended Second Baptist Church in Lexington. Ronald was also a member of the VFW Post 4052, American Legion, Moose Lodge, Masonic Dixon Lodge #11, NAACP and Juneteenth. In addition to spending time with family and friends, Ronald enjoyed auctions, collecting, fishing, hunting, and was an avid Sci-Fi tv watcher.

Survivors include two children, Lavell Moss and wife Maggie of Lexington, MO and Ronalda Cole-Manney of Kansas City, MO; two step-children, Levell Stanton and wife Margaret of DeSoto, Texas and Gwyn Stanton of Los Angeles, California; two brothers, Samuel Cole of Lexington, MO and Delbert Cole of Moberly, MO; a sister, Shirley Cole of Lexington, MO; fifteen grandchildren, Melyssa Colerangle, Tynisha Gantt, Anthony Stanton, Jonathan Colerangle, Julian Stanton, Leslie Stanton, Destiny Moss, Jonathan Moss, Cody Mason, Kyla Moss, Mia Manney, Kane Dobson, Miles Manney, Milek Manney and Matthias Moss; and many great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

In additon to his parents and wife, Ronald was preceded in death by three sisters, Dawn Cole-Ganious, Regina Cole, and Helen Cole-Billups; two step-children, Barbara Jean Stanton and Lester Stanton; and a brother-in-law, James (Suge) Stanton.
