Robin Lei Green

Robin Lei Green, 62 of Odessa, Missouri passed away on Sunday, July 2, 2023, at St. Luke’s East Hospital in Lee’s Summit, MO surrounded by family.

A Celebration of Life will be held at 11:00 a.m., Saturday, July 8, 2023, at New Horizon Presbyterian Church, 4266 MO-131, Odessa, MO, 64076.  Inurnment will follow at the Odessa Cemetery.  Robin’s family strongly suggest no flowers, memorials are suggested to New Horizon Presbyterian Church or to a Charity of Donor’s Choice.  Memories of Robin and condolences for her family may be left at www.LedfordFamilyFH.com or on our Facebook Page.  Arrangements have been entrusted to the Ralph O. Robin was born on May 29, 1961, in Kansas City, MO to Bob and Sharen (Edwards) Green.  She graduated in 1979 from Odessa High School.  She was a member of the Mighty-MO 4-H Club, where she did horsemanship and won 1^st place at the state 4-H competitions with mare and foal.  After high school Robin attended Central Missouri State University in Warrensburg, MO.  She worked for many years at Mitchell Quarries in Bates City, MO and later went to work for MoDOT where she held many positions.  Robin retired from MoDOT after 20 plus years of service.  She was an active member of New Horizon Presbyterian Church and served in many different capacities throughout the years.  She was Clerk of Sessions and enjoyed playing the chimes with her son Arron.  Robin also volunteered with Odessa Outreach.  Robin enjoyed going on cruises and traveling with friends.  She loved going to dinner with friends, and hosting dinners for family and friends at her home. Robin touched so many with her kind and loving heart and will be missed by all those who knew her.

Robin is survived by her parents, Bob and Sharen Green of Odessa, MO; a brother, Rex Green; two nieces, Heather (Green) Witthar and husband Bill of Blue Springs, MO and Jaclynn “Jaci” Green and significant other, Dakota Proctor of Independence, MO; one nephew, Logan Green and significant other Allyson Day of Odessa, MO; a great-nephew, Brayden Kirk of Blue Springs, MO; and many cousins, relatives and friends.

Robin was preceded in death by a son, Arron Daniel Green Specker; and significant other, Allen Lee Specker.
