ROBERT CARL WALQUIST
Robert Carl Walquist, 87, of Lexington, Missouri, passed away November 5, 2017 at Riverbend Height Care Center in Lexington. Memorial Services will be Thursday, November 9, 2017 at 2:00pm at Walker Nadler Fuller Funeral Home, Lexington. Visitation will also be on Thursday at the funeral home from 1:00 to 2:00pm. Inurnment will be at a later date. Memorials may be made to VFW or the John Knox Village Hospice.
Robert was born July 22, 1930 to Carl and Laura Ritter Walquist. He married Bonnie Schaller on July 27, 1950 in Lexington. Robert served in the United States Army from 1952 to 1954.Robert was a pipefitter/welder and was a member of the Pipefitter's Union until his retirement. He was a member of First Baptist Church, Lexington
Robert is survived by his wife of the home, two daughters, Roxann Coen and Tammy Harrison and husband Mike, all of Lexington; and one brother, Richard Walquist and his wife Minnie, of Lee's Summit.
He was preceded in death by his parents and a sister LaVerne Johnson.
