Robert “Bob†Irving Lannin, 82, of Odessa, MO formerly of Warsaw, MO passed away on Monday, June 29, 2015 at the Golden Living Center in Odessa, MO.
A graveside service will be held at 2:00 p.m., Thursday, July 2, 2015 at the Riverside Cemetery in Warsaw, MO with Military Rites. Memorials are suggested to the American Legion Post 223, 1001 W. 22nd St., Higginsville, MO, 64037. Condolences for the family may be left at

Robert was born on May 15, 1933 in North Platte, Nebraska to Harry O. and Catherine LaDean (Nickle) Lannin. He graduated from Murdock High School in Murdock, NE. Robert was a veteran of the United States Army and was stationed in Germany during the Korean Conflict. He married Arliss Ann (Westling) Lannin on August 14, 1964 in Lincoln, NE. She preceded him in death. Robert owned and operated Lannins Liquor in Higginsville, MO from 1978 to 1990. Prior to moving to Higginsville he worked as a heating and cooling technician at the University of Nebraska. He was a past Post Commander for the American Legion Post 223 in Higginsville, MO. In addition to spending time with family and friends he enjoyed camping, boating, fishing and woodworking.
Survivors include a son, Tobi Lannin and wife Lois of Odessa, MO; four grandchildren, Matt and Jessica Lannin of Odessa, MO, Dana Krass of Elmwood, NE and Adam Krass and wife Daisy of Omaha, NE; two great grandchildren, Taylor and Aiden Krass; a son in law, Mike Krass of Elmwood, NE; one brother, Gordon Lannin of Murdock, NE, and many nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents and wife, Robert was preceded in death by a daughter, Joan Krass and two brothers, Larry and Dale Lannin
