Robert “Bob†Eugene Foster, 77, of Odessa, MO passed away on Wednesday, March 27, 2015 at Research Medical Center in Kansas City, MO
A Celebration of Life will be held at 2:00 p.m., Saturday, April 11, 2015 at the Ralph O. Jones Funeral Home, 306 S. 2nd St., Odessa, MO, 64076, 816-633-5524. Visitation will be held one hour prior from 1 p.m. to 2 p.m. at the funeral home. A private family Graveside Service took place on Tuesday, March 31, 2015 at Mt. Tabor Cemetery in Odessa, MO. In lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested to The Christian Broadcasting Network, (The 700 Club), 977 Centerville Turnpike, Virginia Beach, VA 23463. Robert Eugene Foster was born on June 17, 1937 to Emery and Golden “Jackie†Alumbaugh Foster. He married Sharon Mouser on December 16, 1983 in Martin City, MO. Bob was an Army Veteran. He had spent his entire life in the carpentry trade, working as a finishing carpenter, home remodeling and had worked in carpentry maintenance for several large apartment complexes in the Kansas City area. Bob was attending the First Baptist church in Odessa.
Survivors include his wife, Sharon of the home. A son Brian Foster, Overland Park, Kansas and a daughter, Carrie Womack also of Overland Park, KS. There are two grandsons.
Preceding Bob in death are his parents, a son, Jeffrey, a brother James Foster, and two sisters Mary Lou Foster and E. Ann Childress.
