Robert “Bob” Allen Specker, 79 of Bates City, Missouri passed away on Thursday, August 23, 2018 at home surrounded by family.

Bob was born on April 4, 1939 in Pierre, South Dakota to George and Irene (Matthews) Specker. He married Eleanor Ann (Hobbs) Specker on December 17, 1958 in Odessa, MO. Bob retired from working heavy construction. He is a member of the Laborers Local 633 in Kansas City, MO. In addition to spending time with his family and friends, Bob enjoyed fishing, cooking for his family and drinking coffee with them.
Survivors include five children, Tammy Watson and husband Greg of Lexington, MO, Judy Fisher and husband Darryl of Bates City, MO, Lisa Bailey and husband Steve of Odessa, MO, Julie Tully and husband Charles of Oak Grove, MO and Bobby Specker and Fiancé Judy of Odessa, MO; 18 grandchildren; 39 great-grandchildren; two brothers, Gene Ray Specker and wife Emma Lou and Donald Specker and wife Mary Jean, both of Odessa, MO; a sister, Jane Vahrenberg and husband John of Mayview, MO; and many nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, Bob was preceded in death by a son, David Allen Specker; three great-grandchildren in infancy, Analynne Arbogast, Ryan Fisher and Macie Hawkins.
