Riley Michael Deatherage, 5 months old, of Odessa, Missouri passed away on Tuesday, September 16, 2014, at Children’s Mercy Hospital in Kansas City, MO.
Funeral services will be held at 11:30 a.m., Saturday, September 20, 2014 at the Ralph O. Jones Funeral Home, 306 S. Second St., Odessa, MO, 64076, 816-633-5524. Visitation will be held from 10:00 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. on Saturday, September 20, 2014 at the funeral home. Burial will be in the Sni-Mills Cemetery in Oak Grove, MO. Riley was born on April 13, 2014 in Independence, MO to Lawrence (Larry) Eugene and Michelle Renee (Burns) Deatherage. In the short time Riley was here he brought much joy to many people and touched many lives. He will be greatly missed.
In addition to his parents, Riley is survived by four siblings, a twin sister, Reagan Deatherage, Jax Deatherage, Samantha Webb and Nickolas Webb all of Odessa, MO; maternal grandmother, Darlene Burns; paternal grandparents, Ronald and Darla Deatherage; maternal great grandparents, Ray and Peggy France; one uncle, Jeremy Burns and wife Kristy, of Oak Grove, MO; and one aunt Dawn Hensley and husband Steven of Odessa, MO; and numerous cousins.
Riley was preceded in death by his maternal grandfather, John Burns ; paternal great grandparents, Wendle and Billie Deatherage, Lawrence and Helen Yost and Ralph and Ruth Riley.
