Rhonda Sue (Stiverson) Rothman, 53, of Independence, Missouri passed away on Sunday, March 23, 2025, at home.

A Celebration of Life will be held at 12:00pm to 2:00pm on Saturday, April 5, 2025 at Side Pockets, 1237 MO-7, Blue Springs, Missouri 64014. Family and friends are encouraged to wear their Chiefs or Royals attire. In lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested to the KC Pet Project and may be left in care of the funeral home. Rhonda was born on December 12, 1971, in Independence, MO. She graduated from Holden High School and earned her degree in Accounting and worked in the business accounting and bookkeeping all her career. She was currently employed with RadSource Imaging Technologies in Kansas City, MO. To Rhonda, nobody was a stranger. Her personality didn’t leave any space for bashfulness or embarrassment. Rhonda was vocal with her opinions whether you asked for them or not. She was smart, witty, and always had a smart-mouthed comment. She wasn’t just the life of the party; she was the party. Rhonda’s greatest love was her dogs, Marlow, Gemma, Snickers, and Darby, who were more like her children. She enjoyed many hours of playing pool with friends. Rhonda was part of many different pool teams and earned several trips to the World Pool Championship in Las Vegas with her ladies’ team. She enjoyed shopping, and was an avid Chiefs Football, Royals Baseball, and all-around sports fan. She was a passionate daughter, sister, aunt, and friend.

Rhonda is survived by her father and step-mother, Clayton and Sharon Stiverson of Centerview, MO and her mother, Carolyn Stiverson of Stover, MO; two sisters, Melissa Comstock of Eldon, MO and Heather (Nathan) Yoder of Holden, MO; four nieces and nephews, Kyle Comstock, Amber Vaughn, Logan Yoder, and Adasyn Yoder; and two great-nieces, Emma and Alexandria, and a great-nephew, Jayden; her BFF, Cindy Bates; and many relatives and friends.
