Raymond C." Jennings

Raymond Jennings, 88, of Lexington, MO passed away Thursday, October 13, 2011 at Lexington Care Center. Raymond Jennings was born July 16, 1923 in Lexington, the son of John Leonard and Ethel Lovetta Comstock Jennings. R.C. was the Store Manager for A. & P. in Lexington for forty plus years. He was a member of the Lexington First Baptist Church and a WW II Veteran of the Army Air Corp. Mr. Jennings is survived by two brothers: Wayne Jennings of Belton, MO and Jerry Jennings, Wellington. A sister Carol Sue Looney, Higginsville, MO. and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, four brothers: Lucien, Don, and Larry, Lawrence, and a sister, Dorothy Strothman. Services will be 2 p.m., Saturday, October 15, 2011 at the Walker-Nadler-Fuller Funeral Home, Lexington. Burial in Lexington Memory Gardens with Military rites. Visitation will be from 1 to 2 p.m. on Saturday at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to the Lexington First Baptist Church.
