Randy Lee Dyer, 52, of Odessa, Missouri passed away on Sunday, June 28, 2015 in Odessa.
Funeral services will be at 1:00 p.m., Tuesday, July 7, 2015 at the Ralph O. Jones Funeral Home, 306 S. 2nd St., Odessa, MO 64076, 816-633-5524. Visitation will be held on Monday, July 6, 2015 from 6 to 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Burial will be in the Green Lawn Cemetery in Kansas City, MO. Randy was born on March 24, 1963 in Kansas City, MO to Larry Charles Dyer and Beulah May (McCaslin). He graduated from Odessa High School in 1981. After high school he attended Bailey Technical College in Kansas City, MO for auto mechanics. He later joined IBEW Local Union 124 in Kansas City, MO where he worked as an Electrician for the last 28 years. Randy married Pamala Jean (Thomas) Dyer on October 9, 1984 in Lexington, MO, who survives of the home. In addition to spending time with family and friends, Randy liked working on cars, being outdoors, camping, and playing pool.
In addition to his wife Pam of Odessa, MO and father Larry Dyer of Oak Grove, MO, Randy is survived by six children, Joseph Dyer and wife Nikki of Odessa, MO, Tosha Dyer of Odessa, MO, Brandon Dyer of Odessa, MO, Victoria Dyer of Warrensburg, MO, Casey Dyer and wife Evanna of Independence, MO, and Kandis Dyer of Odessa, MO; four grandchildren, Gracie Ludeke, Michael Bolinger, Landon Linkhart, Brynn Dyer and a grandchild to arrive soon ; two brothers, Larry Dyer and wife Paula of Scranton, Kansas and Michael Dyer of Mission, KS; one sister, Peggy Dyer of Odessa, MO; and many nieces and nephews.
Randy was preceded in death by his mother.
