Ralph Herman Fisher, 87, of Odessa, Missouri passed away on Tuesday, March 29, 2016 at St. Mary's Medical Center in Blue Springs, MO.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m., Monday, April 4, 2016 at the Ralph O. Jones Funeral Home, 306 S. 2nd St., Odessa, MO, 64076 with Reverend Larry Neil officiating. Visitation will be held from 1:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m., Monday, April 4, 2016 at the funeral home. Burial with Military Rites will be in the Odessa Cemetery. Memorials are suggested to the family. Ralph was born on April 28, 1928 in Crozet, Virginia to Ralph Lee and Esther Line (Knight) Fisher. Ralph graduated from Dupont High School in Bell, West Virginia. He enlisted in the United States Air Force on December 18, 1945 in Ft. Hayes, Ohio and was Honorably Discharged on March 27, 1947 in Fort Sheridan, Illinois. While in the Air Force Ralph learned the trade of Sheet Metal Mechanic. He married Hazel Lorene (Hinds) Fisher on September 21, 1957 in Independence, MO. Ralph was Baptist by faith. After 30 plus years, on June 1 1989 he retired from Ford Motor Company in Claycomo, MO. Ralph was a member or the UAW Local 249 in Claycomo. In addition to spending time with his family and friends, he enjoyed fishing and NASCAR.

In addition to his wife Hazel, Ralph is survived by two children, Deborah Lynn Ollison and husband John of Independence, MO and Susan Smith of Independence, MO; two sister's Freda Basham and Jeanie Converse; and many grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents and a son, Butch Fisher, Ralph was preceded in death by four brothers, Charles, Frank, Alanzo and Eddie Fisher; and four sisters Linda Carr, Lucille Hertel, Mildren Lane and Betty Shamblin.
